HOW TO GET TO FIELDWORK
Fieldwork is accessible from both Kansai & Itami airports by bus and train, arriving at Sasayamaguchi Station. Google Maps is excellent for directions but we will also provide detailed instructions on how to get here.

Participants might also consider renting a car for their time at Fieldwork as this will allow for maximum flexibility to see the region. Car rental in Japan is very affordable, although the cost of road tolls can come as a surprise.
WHERE IS OGAMI?
Located in Hyogo Prefecture, a little over an hour from Kyoto & Kobe, Ogami is a small village on the outskirts of Sasayama, just 20 minutes from the historic Tanba pottery region.
